About Elos Thermal
Elos Thermal makes heated insoles designed for unmatched comfort and all-day warmth. Built for outdoor athletes, winter workers, and anyone exposed to the elements, Elos combines innovative thermal technology with ergonomic design.
The product is engineered to provide consistent heat, pressure point relief, and long-term wearability—without bulky batteries or complicated setup. It's a physical product that delivers a clear value prop: stay warm, stay comfortable, stay out longer.
What Challenges Elos Thermal Faced
Elos was preparing for a major product launch and needed to raise capital to support manufacturing, inventory, and distribution. But unlike software startups, hardware companies face unique investor questions—around margins, scalability, durability, and go-to-market.
Thunlwynn and the team didn’t have time to spend weeks building investor lists, sending outreach, and figuring out what messages would land. They needed to raise without slowing down product development and launch efforts.
How Weraise Helped
1. Built a List of Investors Who Back Physical Products
We focused on angels and early-stage funds that had backed DTC hardware, wearables, and consumer tech. These were investors who understood the manufacturing cycle, the importance of margins, and the brand-building side of launching a physical product.
We filtered out generic SaaS investors and focused only on people who could immediately connect with the Elos model.
2. Sharpened the Story
Weraise worked with Elos to make sure the investor messaging was clear and compelling. The outreach explained:
- The problem with traditional insoles in cold environments
- The innovation behind Elos’ thermal system and material design
- Early traction and how the team was preparing for scaled launch
- The broader potential in performance wearables
The result was a message that made sense even to investors outside the footwear category.
3. Fully Managed the Outreach
We ran the entire campaign—writing, sending, following up, and booking meetings. Every investor conversation that came in was already qualified and prepped. Thunlwynn didn’t need to pause the launch. He stayed focused while the fundraising motion ran in the background.
Results
- Elos Thermal started investor conversations with the right people while staying focused on product and operations
- The messaging helped investors understand both the tech and the opportunity
- Thunlwynn got clear feedback, warm intros, and strong early interest
